Description
There is no metal in this boot. That is the whole point.
A standard PVC site boot protects your feet with a steel toe cap and a steel puncture plate. Both work. Both also rust, conduct heat, set off metal detectors, and make the boot heavy enough that your legs know about it by 4pm.
The AIKO YB-ORANGE does the same two jobs with a composite toe cap and a Kevlar® puncture plate, on an EVA upper instead of solid PVC. Nothing inside it can corrode. Nothing inside it is steel. And because EVA is a closed-cell foam rather than solid rubber, it is in a different weight class from the yellow and black PVC boots most Singapore sites still buy by the carton.

Why weight matters, in numbers: NIOSH measured firefighters walking in boots of different weights and found that every extra 1 kg of boot weight raised oxygen consumption by about 5–6% and heart rate by about 6%. Weight on the foot costs far more than the same weight carried in a bag. Put your current boot on a parcel scale, then put this one on — the difference is the number that matters to you.

AIKO YB-ORANGE 超轻防砸防刺穿安全水鞋（橙色）
整双鞋不含任何金属。传统 PVC 水鞋靠钢头和钢底板防护，防护是够了，但钢会生锈、会导热、过安检门一定响，而且重。
YB-ORANGE 用复合材料鞋头加凯夫拉（Kevlar®）防刺穿中底做同样的两件事，鞋身是 EVA 发泡材料，不是实心 PVC。长期泡水、泡海水、踩湿泥的工地，鞋底里的钢板会从里面锈掉，你看不见；这双没有钢，就没有这个问题。
