The tallest mast in the AIKO battery range, and the widest pool of light. At 5.3m the ATL-500-5.3M throws its 62,000 lumens further across the deck, so one unit covers ground that would otherwise take two — and it does it in complete silence, on battery, with no diesel at all.

Same battery platform as the 4.2M: three D24-500 lithium packs, over 20 hours of runtime in standard mode, IP65 rated, and full mains operation on 100–277V AC when you want unlimited hours at maximum output. Specify this one for open earthworks, road and rail corridors, marine yards, large slabs and stockyards where mast height is what buys you coverage.

What it costs to run, per unit

You save about S$1,243 a month, or S$14,921 a year, on every unit you switch.

Diesel S$3.92/L (average of Esso, Shell, Caltex, SPC and Sinopec pump prices, 13 Aug 2026). Electricity S$0.3478/kWh (SP Group Q3 2026 tariff, incl. GST). 12-hour night shift, 22 shifts a month. Diesel comparison is a 4.5kVA generator-set light tower burning about 1 litre an hour on lamp load — a 15-litre tank, so one refuel every shift. Servicing figure is our own workshop's average tower-light repair invoice. Your numbers will vary with load and shift pattern; ask us for a costing on your actual site hours.

Against a new diesel light tower

New diesel light towers in Singapore sell for roughly S$7,600 to S$10,500 — and then cost you about S$15,000 a year to keep running. The ATL-500-5.3M sits in that same purchase band and runs for under S$90 a year. Over three years, the diesel unit costs you S$45,000 in fuel, servicing and refuelling labour that this one simply does not.

Where it earns its keep: night works

Under NEA construction noise limits, a site within 150m of residential buildings is capped at 55 dBA between 10pm and 7am, and 70 dBA (Leq 5 min) between 7pm and 10pm. Near hospitals, schools and homes for the aged the evening cap tightens to 55 dBA. A running diesel generator set does not sit inside those numbers. A battery tower light makes no noise at all — so the light is never the reason a night permit gets refused or a complaint gets raised.
